From the North follow the signs towards the railway station and turn right up past the castle. Follow the road as it bends to the left and becomes St. Mary's St. At the junction at the bottom turn right into High St., first left into Milk St. and right into Princess St. The Golden Cross is on the right hand side.
From the South follow the signs towards the Town Centre, cross the river over the English bridge onto Wyle Cop. Up the hill take the second left fork onto High St. Then proceed as above.
